Job Summary

The Town of Brentwood, Maryland seeks a part-time Community Program Coordinator to assist with developing new programming and support existing community programming.

The Town of Brentwood is a leading Maryland Municipality with the ability to serve its residents in a meaningful way.  The Community Program Coordinator is improving the lives of the people we serve.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Coordinating existing programs
• Identifying community needs in coordination with existing state and county programming
• Developing new programs for our residents
• Regular outreach to community members and organizations

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate speaks both English and Spanish and is comfortable working with a diverse group of people. Recent customer service experience and a high school diploma are required. Candidates should have experience as an event coordinator, social worker, or something similar and enjoy being part of a team. The ideal candidate is very organized, self-motivated, and a master communicator. Community outreach requires the ability to work outdoors and on your feet for up to three hours a day.
