The City of Bowie is seeking an experienced accountant to performing complex / specialized accounting work, coordinate projects with other City departments as well as analyze budgetary, statistical, accounting, and departmental data.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
• Two (2) years of Accounting Governmental or non-profit

accounting experience highly desirable..

• A comparable amount of training and experience may be substtituted for the minimum qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS;

• Certified Public Finance Officer Certification (CPFO)
• Master's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field

SALARY: $57,159 - $67,500 Depending on Qualifications
