The Town of Hebron is accepting resumes for a Code Enforcement Officer to enforce municipal codes and ordinances that have an impact on public health, personal safety, property values, and overall welfare and quality of life for the Hebron community.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with some inspection, security, or enforcement experience who can work independently but enjoys being part of a collaborative team that plays a significant role in ensuring that Hebron is a clean, safe, and attractive community. As a member of the Administration team, you will be performing work involving inspection, regulation, and enforcement of codes and ordinances related to nuisance abatement, property maintenance, signs, and noise, so you must be able to quickly develop a working knowledge of the Town and applicable laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations. You must have a proactive philosophy toward enforcement and regulation and a commitment to providing excellent customer service, as you will interact with the general public, residents, and business owners daily. The ability to fluently speak, read, write, is required.
