The Town of Hampstead is currently seeking candidates for an Administrative Assistant. We are a small town in northeastern Carroll County established in 1888, a historic, family-oriented community with friendly neighborhoods and successful small businesses. Our culture is family focused, team oriented, and collaborative.

 

The starting annual salary range is $42,000 to $45,000 based on previous experience. Normal work hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and must be able to work overtime as needed.

Some of the Essential knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience we are looking for:

  • Possess excellent customer service skills and support via phone, in-person, and written correspondence.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, excellent oral and written communication, and strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Proven problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Experience with providing complex, confidential administrative support with tact and diplomacy.
  • Minimum of three (3) years administrative experience including customer service and receptionist experience.
  • Pass all pre-employment screenings including a physical and drug screen.
