The Town of North East is seeking applications for a full time Finance Associate with the Finance Department. Applicants seeking this position should possess the skills necessary to process payroll, related payroll accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for a municipal government. The position requires the ability to perform a variety of routine administrative work pertaining to municipal government. Applicants should possess excellent customer service qualities, office skills, computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail) accounting knowledge, and financial background. Applicants should have the ability to quickly learn proprietary municipal software. Applicants should be self-motivated requiring minimum supervision and have a strong work ethic. Applicants must possess a valid MD driver’s license and high school diploma or equivalent. The rate of pay will be based upon experience. The Town provides a generous benefit package.
