Equipment Operator (I or II) - Utilities

The City of Westminster has immediate openings for 2 Equipment Operators (I or II) within the Utilities Department to perform tasks such as:

• Preparation and backfilling of excavated holes (saw cutting, jackhammering, earth removal, multiple lifts and tamping of stone, final surface patching).
• Assist with maintenance and repairs to the water distribution and sewer collection systems.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs to the sewer lift and water booster stations.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs to the Fiber Optic Network.

Equipment Operator I - $17.76/hour; must have a valid Class C driver’s license. Ability to obtain a CDL Class A license within one (1) year on the job.  CDL Training Class A training offered.

Equipment Operator II - $21.11/hour; must already have a valid CDL Class A license.

Full-Time: 40-hour position, permanent position.
