The Town of La Plata is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Director of Engineering to lead our Engineering team and guide our Capital Improvement Program. If you are passionate about community infrastructure and want to help shape the future of our Town, we invite you to apply.

What You Will Do
• Lead planning and delivery of major Town infrastructure projects
• Oversee design reviews, technical standards, and regulatory compliance
• Manage consultants, contractors, and project budgets
• Collaborate with departments, residents, developers, and regional partners
• Support long-term planning, grants, and special projects

What We Are Looking For
• Degree in civil or related engineering field
• Experience in municipal engineering and capital project delivery
• Leadership experience guiding teams or consultants
• Professional Engineer license preferred, or the ability to get one during the first year
